Have You Checked Out Spouting Horn Park?

Another park I loved was the Spouting Horn Park. The rocks along the shore were amazing to look at. One of the spots had a hole in the rock. So when the waves would hit the rock good the water would shoot up through a hole and far into the air. It was fun to watch. When we had gotten there my daughter fell asleep in her car seat. So I sat there a while and watched
So when the waves would hit the rock good the water would shoot up through a hole and far into the air. It was fun to watch. When we had gotten there my daughter fell asleep in her car seat. So I sat there a while and watched the waves hit the rocks while she slept. The weather was amazing. When she had woken up I decided that we needed a snack. So I went and drove to the nearest grocery store. I found a little shop that had smoothies inside. I had to check them out! It was a cute little store with a smoothie shop in the back.
After a little hiking, there was a beach we found. This ended up being our favorite beach to go to. It was in a bay so the waves didn’t get too big. My daughter was able to run in and out of the waves while holding my hands. And everyone else was able to swim, fish, and snorkel as they pleased. It was a family-friendly place to be. It had rained a few times while we were there. So when it rained we had to run under some trees to try to stay warm. And yes we were in Hawaii, but when the sun goes away for a few minutes and it rains, you start to get cold.
Along each edge of the beach were some rocks. Those were fun to explore while we were there. It was definitely nice to have my keen sandals while climbing those rocks. They can go in the water and are useful when climbing on the rocks. I would also carry around my camelbak backpack to all the spots we traveled to. It was important to stay hydrated and my daughter loved drinking out of it. And I could pack away some snacks in the pockets!
