Hi. I am Alexis Wall, but I go by Lexi. I am from northern Minnesota where it is cold, most of the year. And where I dream about living somewhere warm, most of the year. But I live in the middle of the woods, where I get to look at the pretty leaves change every year and look at the freshly fallen snow on the tree branches and it makes it all worth it. And the summer months are amazing! I love to wakeboard, go to the beach, and simply be by the water. I enjoy any activity near the lake or waterfall. I have a wonderful husband and two kids I get to spend my time with out here in the woods and I enjoy it. We do as many outdoor activities as we can throughout the year. This past summer we went golfing, camping, hiking, playing at the beach, and being outside in our yard. We have also done a little traveling to warmer climates together and plan to do more in the future.
When I am inside, I have found a few new hobbies that I have enjoyed learning about and would like to share with others. Ever since I became pregnant with my oldest daughter, who is now two years old, I started to care about her health. And in turn, I cared more about my own. I work hard to reduce the chemical load on my body by using Young Living products that I know help to boost my immune system. It is also a relief to know that when my kids get into those products and try eating them, they won’t get sick! Cooking has also become important to me all of a sudden. I wanted to cook healthy foods for my kids to make sure they were healthy. I never thought I would get into cooking and be in the kitchen, but I now enjoy it! And I enjoy eating, so it comes with the territory I guess. I need to cook to be able to eat those yummy foods. I started to research how to make meals from scratch and to start to implement probiotic and nourishing foods into our daily life. I am starting this blog so that I can share my journey of learning new ways to implement nourishing foods into our daily lives and replacing common household products with natural products that are better for our health. It is a journey that has just begun and I plan to continue learning and growing in this area for a long time. I hope to not only share my experiences but to learn from others as well and be inspired to try new things.
